How Nuts Work

It rained heavily yesterday so there was nothing to water at the community garden.  I pedaled there early this morning just to have somewhere to pedal.  I watched plants grow for a minute and pulled a few weeds.  This came up intact from soft soil.

Isn’t it lovely?  As soon as I pulled it, I was sorry to have cut it’s life short.  I knew that’s how trees were made, but I hadn’t seen it close or held it in my hand.  I can conjure memories of drawings in text books, but this was better.

Work is still full throttle, so I will say no more.

Have a great weekend.
